Many of us are not aware of its existence. So what are green windows? Well, at the face of it, the term implies windows that are eco-friendly but it actually refers to those windows which are energy efficient in both producing and using and help reduce energy consumption and therefore help conserve environment’s resources in return.

How are they green?

Eco friendly manufacture: These windows have double glazed glasses which are produced with minimal consumption of energy as compared to ordinary modern windows. They are made of UPVC which is renewable as compared to aluminum.

Energy efficient: Researchers have discovered that even after good roof insulation, 48% of your home’s energy is lost without good windows and doors. Green windows bar energy escape from your interiors therefore reducing on your energy bills. In other words, you eat up less of the environments’ energy.
